The “acting” over at @arlo_canecorso is reaching a whole new level of adorable. This big, scary dog is back for another round of his favorite game, where he waits for his dad to sneak into the room, in this viral video. Arlo is a massive Cane Corso, but he is mostly just a squishy marshmallow. He has over 4.2k followers watching his every goofy move, and this clip is actually the fourth episode of their ongoing game. It’s a complete departure from the usual chaotic front-door greetings.

The clip opens with Arlo sprawled out on the bed. He is facing the window and looking totally unbothered, and his mom is right there with the camera ready. The plan is always the same: Can Dad sneak into the room without waking up the “sleeping” giant? Then we see Dad enter through the room’s door. He creeps through the door and stays as quiet as possible.

Then, he slowly approaches the bed and starts sweetly patting Arlo’s back. Arlo, for his part, lifts his head like he’s just waking up from the deepest nap ever. And then he sees exactly who it is, and the acting immediately stops. His tail starts going a mile a minute. Someone in the comments called it a “lethal weapon,” which seems to be true at this point.

Next, Arlo turns around to give his dad a proper hello. He is just so happy to have him back. Being a Cane Corso, he is naturally a large pup, but he is a total gentle giant in this video. He even puts a massive paw on his father’s arm while he gets all the scritches. Then he does one of those big half-body shakes, like he has too much excitement to stay still.

This series has become a bit of a hit lately. Episode 3 of the sneak-home game actually went viral because of how sweet it was. A cat sanctuary actually rescued Arlo, and that might be why he sits in that funny “loaf” position or acts nonchalant when Dad comes home. His owner thinks he is just enjoying the game now.
